Southern Cross University

The Centre for Enterprise Development and Research (CEDAR), is a research and training centre of Southern Cross University.

The research aims of CEDAR are to enhance our understanding of enterprises in contemporary markets. We want to understand: -

  • interactions between the environment and enterprises
  • competitiveness
  • the role of people in enterprise development
  • relationships between what we do and what we achieve
  • how large and small enterprises can effect the development of sustainable communities, and
  • the future of enterprises in a globalised, electronic and networked World

CEDAR, through its broad network of experts and professionals, continues to deliver leading edge business research, teaching and consultancy to industry, government and the community. CEDAR has strong connections with a number of agencies and research institutions, both in Australia and internationally, such as the Asia Pacific ICT Enterprise Development and Research Institute, Agitavi Research Corporation Limited, and the Centre for Sales Process Research.
